HOW WE HELP OTHERS
Pathway Church is committed to reaching out locally and globally.
Our outreach programs will always be rooted in these two fundamental beliefs:
- Everyone needs to hear the life changing message of Jesus
- Our city and the world ought to be a better place to live because we are here.
PROJECT: Bulla Hagar Clinic
Since 2010, Pathway Church has supported a nurse in the Bulla Hagar Clinic, in Garissa, Kenya. This nurse immunizes children and takes care of them in their illnesses, and works alongside one other nurse, a clinical office, lab technician, community health worker, book keeper and security guard. Together, they treat 400+ individuals each month.
PROJECT: Mountain School in Haiti
Pathway Church supports a mountain school in Grande Goave Haiti. The financial support from this church ensures that over 100 children living in the mountains have access to an education and the gospel message.
PROJECT: Kids Against Hunger
Pathway Church is a proud partner of Kids Against Hunger and participant in their yearly One Million Meals packaging events, as they work to provide food for those in need in Peterborough and the world. Click HERE for more information about Kids Against Hunger.
PROJECT: The Big Egg Hunt 2017, 2014, 2012, 2011
Pathway Church held four “Big Egg Hunt” events with over 20,000 eggs, jumping castles, and cookie decorating. The event was free of charge and open to the entire community, with the first event being held in Beavermead Park, and the past three events at the Peterborough Sports and Wellness Centre.
Pathway Church regularly contributes to additional ministries in our local community including: Kawartha Youth Unlimited, Peterborough Pregnancy Support Services, Kawartha Food Share, and more.
