Pathway Kids VBS

This summer, we’re giving kids the chance to have fun, connect, and grow together in a great camp setting with a team of eager leaders!

We’re turning up the volume at VBS to remind each kid that they can have confidence because of Jesus.

When kids begin to see themselves the same way that Jesus sees them, then real confidence begins to take root and grow.

VBS stands for “Vacation Bible School” but it really is nothing like school at all, it is more like a summer day camp! We will be playing games, making crafts, singing, dancing and learning about how we can have confidence because of Jesus.

Pathway Press Play VBS will be held at Rhema Christian School, 29 County Road 4, Peterborough ON. Kids will spend time both outside on the school’s soccer field and inside the gym.

Children and volunteers coming for the day will be pre-screened digitally to make sure they do not have covid. All volunteers and children entering grade 1 and older are required to wear a mask during their time at Pathway Press Play VBS. Younger children are not required to wear a mask, but encouraged to do so if they are able. We’ll be following the parameters of the newly published Summer Day Camp guidelines. We will be developing and posting our own safety plan shortly.

Children should bring a water bottle, a hat for the sun, a light jacket in case it gets cold and if they are entering grade one or older they must wear a mask. We will be providing snack so bringing food is not necessary. All other supplies needed will be provided.

Leaders are trained Pathway Kids volunteers that have passed our screening process–police record checks, references, etc. We work hard to make sure that we have excellent volunteers who know how to work with children and who will provide a safe and engaging experience for your kids.
