Hobby Stations

🧱 Lego Challenges

Unleash your creativity with Lego Masters-style building challenges!

🎂 Cake Decorating

Learn basic piping skills, flower making, or how to ice a cake with pre-baked mini cakes, cookies, or cupcakes.

🔨 Woodworking

Get hands-on and craft your very own gumball machine! All supplies, including pre-cut wood pieces, will be provided.

🏐 Volleyball

Ages 4-6 will get an exciting introduction with volleyball themed activities. Ages 7-12 will have the chance to develop core volleyball skills like serving, passing, and setting, then apply them in a short game.

⚽ Soccer

Ages 4-6 can join lively mini-games to learn basic movements. For ages 7-12, develop core dribbling and passing skills, then jump into short games.

💅 Spa Fun

Treat yourself to some pampering with hair, nails, or facial activities.

🕺 Breakdancing

Don't miss special breakdancing lessons hosted by none other than Jimmy Chapman!

🎨 Arts & Crafts

Get creative with various projects, including needlework, painting, and drawing.

⚙️ How It Works

Kids 12 and under can choose two different stations.
Hobby sign‑up opens at 5 PM on the night of the event.
Please sign-up online in advance so we know you’re coming.
All kids must be accompanied by a supervising adult.

Not volunteering? Your role is just as important—show up with someone! This event is designed especially for families with young kids, so it’s the perfect opportunity to invite friends, neighbours, or coworkers who have little ones.

Why We're Doing This

At Pathway, we want to be FOR Peterborough—and that means building relationships, not just events. Hobby Hangouts is more than a fun night; it's an opportunity to serve, connect, and be present in the lives of our neighbours.
